CORVALLIS, Ore. – The University of Utah men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Oregon State Invitational today, finishing in a tie for third after shooting 13-over par as a team (865) through three rounds.
"Great playing today by Mitchell and Blake," head coach
Garrett Clegg. "They were both very solid each of the three rounds. It was strange that we didn't have any of our other three players really get anything going. This year we have had a lot of depth and quality rounds from all of the players in our lineup, yet this week we would have three good scores then were forced to count on high score every round and it kept us from being as competitive as we would like to be. We have a break now and a lot to work on."
Senior
Mitchell Schow moved up two spots from yesterday to finish tied for fifth out of 80 athletes, shooting 3-under (210). He came away with two birdies today on holes 11 and 12 while notching an eagle on hole five.
