NEUQUÉN, Argentina – Former five-time All-American and University of Utah cross country runner alumna Grayson Murphy will represent the U.S. in the 2019 World Mountain Championships on Friday, Nov. 15, in the 15k race.
Known as one of the premier races not only in the Americas but also the world with over 2,000 runners converging on the town of Villa La Angostura at the base of the Patagonia in Argentina.
Murphy recently made headlines when she was crowned champion at the USATF Mountain Running Championships in Waterville Valley, N.H., back in late September. The Salt Lake City product's time of 1:01:45.0 absolutely crushed her nearest competitor by four minutes.
