Johnson and Van Dyke Named Pac-12 All-Academic
Johnson tabbed second team; Van Dyke earns honorable mention

SAN FRANCISCO – Utah's Jayce Johnson and Parker Van Dyke were each named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, the league office announced today. Johnson was named a second-team selection, while Van Dyke was named honorable mention.
 
Johnson, who has a cumulated 3.53 GPA in psychology, started 24 of the 28 games he has played in this season. He averages 7.0 points and a team-best 7.5 rebounds per game, while also having posted a .586 field goal shooting percentage and 29 blocked shots. This marks Johnson's second consecutive all-academic selection.
 
Van Dyke, who has a 3.20 GPA in economics, started 17 games for the Utes this season, while posting a career-best 8.6 scoring average and totaling 1.4 rebounds, 52 assists, 27 steals and knocking down 72 three-pointers. This is Van Dyke's third all-academic selection of his career (2017, 2018, 2019).
 
Oregon State led the way with five total selections and Stanford followed with four overall selections. Colorado had three honorees and Utah followed with its pair of selections.
 
To be eligible for selection to the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
