FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Utah Diving wrapped up competition at the NCAA Zone E Championships at Northern Arizona University earlier today.
"Even though we did not get the results we were hoping for, it was a great effort from Daniel and Rylan," diving coach
Richard Marschner said. "I am so proud of Daniel and really wish he could have finished his career at NCAA's because he has meant so much to me and the team. I am going to miss coaching him."
Theriault went into the platform finals ranked 10th with a score of 291.70 and moved up to ninth with a score of 299.45.
Rylan Little, who was in ninth with 292.20 points, slipped back to 13th with a total of 558.35 points.
Tony Chen, who did not participate today, will represent the Utes at the NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, March 27-30 at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin
