FRESHMAN FIRSTS

Einarsson also tabbed his first 54-hole tournament score under par, finishing with a combined score of 5-under par (211), which is a career-low 54-hole score.

WINNER WINNER

Blake Tomlinson picked up his first career tournament title at the Bandon Dunes Championship in just his second season. Tomlinson got off to a great start in the event, being one of two golfers to go under par in the first round. After the second round he was tied for the lead and on the final day he was able to capture the win by edging the second-place golfer by one stroke.

TOUR TIME
During Utah's time between competition, Kyler Dunkle traveled to San Antonio at the beginning of March to compete in the PGA Mackenzie Tour Q-School event. Dunkle had a stellar four-round tournament and finished tied for sixth place with a score of 6-under par (69-70-72-71=282) in the field of 120 golfers. With his sixth-place finish, Dunkle qualified for the PGA Tour Canada, which is a series of tournaments across Canada.

Utah has recorded 18 eagles throughout the season which ranks fifth in the nation. Mitchell Schow is currently tied for fifth in the nation with seven eagles on the year, while Axel Einarsson and Kyler Dunkle are tied for 17th in the nation with five each.

In Utah's spring opener at the Amer Ari Invitational, they finished first in the event with five eagles. Dunkle and Schow both sank two eagles, while Tomlinson added one during the first round at the Amer Ari Invitational.
