Baseball Drops First Game Against Oregon
Will Play Doubleheader on Sunday Beginning at 11 a.m.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah baseball fell in its first game of a three-game series against the Oregon Ducks 9-4 in Smith's Ballpark on Saturday, March 30.
 
The Utes totaled 11 hits on the night with Shea Kramer leading the way with three and Rykker Tom, Erick Migueles and Isaac Deveaux all having two.
 
Utah scored its four runs late in the game, but Oregon had done its damage early building a 4-0 lead through the first two innings.
 
The Ducks added to their lead with a run in the fourth and seventh and three runs in the sixth.
 
Along with setting a new career high with three hits, Kramer had two RBI. Migueles and Tom also had an RBI.
 
Kyle Robeniol was the starter for Utah and gave up five earned runs on five hits in 5.2 innings pitched. David Watson came in out of the bullpen to finish the game and only surrendered four hits. The two combined for nine strikeouts on the night.
 
After the first two innings, Robeniol settled in only giving up one hit over the next three innings.
 
The loss drops Utah to 7-13 on the season.
 
After weather pushed back the series, Utah and Oregon will play a double header on Sunday, March 31 beginning at 11 a.m. The second game of the day will begin shortly after the first.
