FIRST PITCH
Utah heads south to Provo, Utah to take on BYU for the second week in a row as a midweek opponent.
 
First pitch will be at 6 p.m. and be broadcasted on BYU TV.
 
BYU is 22-8 on the season and Utah is 8-18 after their weekend series.
 
SERIES
The Utes and Cougars have played each other 363 times and Utah is 117-244-2.
 
Utah has won four games in a row with the game last Tuesday as well as the last three games played during the 2018 season.
 
Utah and BYU will play once more this season at Smith's Ballpark on Tuesday, May 14.
 
BROCOFF MOVES BACK INTO STARTING ROTATION
Brett Brocoff has made two appearances out of the bullpen in Pac-12 play against Stanford and Oregon and has pitched really well.
 
He has a 2.31 era in 11.2 innings pitched and only allowing three runs with 10 strikeouts.
 
Against Stanford, he pitched 6.2 innings allowing the Utes to comeback and force extra innings. Then against Oregon, Brocoff came in after one inning and pitched 5.0 innings and only allowed five hits and two earned runs. he also had a season high in strikeouts with six.
 
In the Oregon State series, he was moved back into the weekend starting rotation. He pitched 6.1 innings against the Beavers only giving up one run on five hits. He also tied his season high with six strikeouts.
 
Brocoff has pitched at least six innings in four of his seven appearances on the mound. He's second on the team with 25 strikeouts and is third on the team pitching 35.1 innings pitched so far this season.
 
DUNN ALWAYS ON BASE
Second baseman Oliver Dunn leads the team hitting .355. Dunn is in the top 11 of the Pac-12 rankings in seven different categories. Those categories are batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs scored, hits, doubles and triples.
 
Dunn had a career high six RBI in the Friday game against Arizona going 3-6 at the plate with two doubles.
 
He leads the team scoring 29 runs scoring two more against BYU and has touched 63 total bases.
 
Dunn currently has a hit in 18 straight games and has a hit in 24 of the 26 games played this season.
 
Dunn has also been a warrior on the field through his career, starting in 129 of the 131 games he's seen action in.
 
NEXT UP
Utah will begin a seven-game homestand with USC beginning on Thursday, April 11 at Smith's Ballpark.
 
The first game will be at 6 p.m. and the last two games will begin at 11:30 a.m. All three games will be broadcasted on Pac-12 Network.
