2019 Spring Camp Wraps Up
Three days remain in Utah's 2019 spring football camp, which will conclude with the 18th-annual Red-White game on Saturday, Apr. 13 at 11 a.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium. Tuesday and Thursday's practices and the Red-White game are open to the public.
 
Red-White Game
Admission and parking are free to the spring game and all seating is general admission. Leading into the spring game will be the annual MUSS (9 a.m.) and Alumni (10 a.m.) games. The Red-White game will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks with Roxy Bernstein (play-by-play), Yogi Roth (analyst) and Jill Savage (sidelines). The game will also be broadcast live on ESPN 700 radio.

Fan Facts
Parking lots throughout campus will open at 6 a.m. Tailgating in the west lot is on a first-come, first-served basis … Beginning at 9 a.m., the first 500 fans to enter Rice-Eccles Stadium (west entry) will receive a custom-design Utah football t-shirt and a silicon bracelet promoting pediatric cancer awareness and support for the Hayes Tough Foundation (hayestough.org) … The Rice-Eccles Stadium ticket office will open at 10 a.m. for season ticket renewals. The season ticket renewal deadline is April 24 … UTA/TRAX will offer free rides to the game with a printable pass.
 
Game Format
Quarters will be 10 minutes long with a standard clock in the first half and a running clock in the second half. Halftime is eight minutes. Teams get two timeouts per half. There will be no punt returns or kickoff returns. In place of kickoffs, play will start at the 35-yard line while punts will be marked at the spot of the catch. If a team scores and is still down by more than 10 points, it will retain possession of the ball.
 
In the Huddle
The coaching staff held a draft last week to select the teams … The offensive linemen and punters were not assigned teams as they will play both ways. They will wear black jerseys … Offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig will call the plays for both teams … The head coaches for the game are first-year Ute assistants Sione Po'uha (Red) and Colton Swan (White). Po'uha's assistants are Jim Harding, Morgan Scalley, Guy Holliday and Kiel McDonald. Swan's assistants are Andy Ludwig, Sharrieff Shah, Freddie Whittingham and Lewis Powell … The losing players and coaches will spend 30 minutes cleaning the Eccles Football Facility on Apr. 15.
