Shannon McNatt has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District 8 at-large first team, selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America CoSIDA).
The 2018-19 District 8 at-large team recognized 11 student-athletes from a pool of 15 NCAA sports (beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, volleyball and water polo). She is also a three-time Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholar All-American and three-time first-team Pac-12 All-Academic selection.
A beam specialist during her time at Utah, McNatt won the 2017 NCAA Regional balance beam title as a sophomore. The Utes qualified into the NCAA Championships all four years she was on the team and won a Pac-12 Championship in 2017.
