SALT LAKE CITY – The Women's College Gymnastics Association (WCGA) has released the Scholastic All-Americans for the 2018-19 academic year, as well as the gymnastics academic team standings. Ten Ute gymnasts were named Scholastic All-Americans for their achievements in the classroom.

All four seniors from the past season tabbed Scholastic All-American honors, led by
Shannon McNatt who rounded out her career as a four-time selection by the WCGA. Along with McNatt, the other seniors to be selected were
Kari Lee,
MaKenna Merrell-Giles, and
Macey Roberts.
Missy Reinstadtler and
MyKayla Skinner became three-time WCGA Scholastic All-Americans following their junior seasons, while
Sydney Soloski notched her second straight selection. Reinstadtler, Skinner, and Soloski have earned the honor every year since arriving on campus. Making the WCGA academic team as freshmen were
Hunter Dula,
Cristal Isa, and
Adrienne Randall.
Utah ranked 25
th in the nation with an average team GPA of 3.5853. To earn WCGA Scholastic All-American honors, student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 overall grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for 2018-19.
