THIS WEEK
After a short break, the Utah men's golf team will be back in action this weekend at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. The two-day tournament is hosted by the University of New Mexico and will run Sept. 27-28 at the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M.
THE FIELD
Utah will compete among a field of 15 teams that includes New Mexico, UNLV, Arizona, BYU, San Diego State, Kansas, Colorado, Coastal Carolina, Wyoming, North Texas, Florida Atlantic, UTEP, New Mexico State, and, Loyola Marymount.
UTAH'S LINE-UP
The Utes will travel a five-man team that consists of seniors Mitchell Schow and Jordan Costello, juniors Blake Tomlinson and Tristan Mandur and, true Freshman Jesper von Reedtz. All five competed in Utah's last tournament appearance at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate
LAST TIME OUT
Utah competed in the Maui Jim Intercollegiate tournament, Sept. 13-15, and placed fifth as a team. Costello was the top Ute, placing himself in a tie for 12th shooting 7-under par (203). Schow also shot extremely well, carding 5-under par (205) to place him in a tie for 18th place. Mandur shot even par (210) to tie for 37th among the field. Reedtz and Tomlinson finished tied for 44th and 51st overall with Reedtz carding 1-over par (211) while Tomlinson shot 3-over par (213).
