Utes in the NFL: Two Utes Set To Play in NFL Conference Championship Games

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah offensive lineman Jackson Barton and punter Mitch Wishnowsky are set to play for their respective teams in the NFL Conference Championships on Sunday, Jan. 19 for a spot in Super Bowl LIV.
Barton and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. MT on CBS while Wishnowsky and the San Francisco 49ers will play against the Green Bay Packers at 4:40 p.m. on FOX.
The Utes had four former players in the divisional playoffs last week with Cody Barton and Marquise Blair representing Utah along with Wishnowsky and Jackson.

The Utes finished the regular season with 17 players on active rosters with three players listed on the reserve or injured lists of their teams and two players on practice squads.
Utah had 10 different players start at least two games this season with Garett Bolles (Denver), Star Lotulelei (Buffalo), Sam Tevi (L.A. Chargers), Eric Weddle (L.A. Rams) and Marcus Williams (New Orleans) earning the starting nod in every game they appeared in.
The 2020 Super Bowl will take place at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 2 and will air live on FOX at 4:30 p.m. MT.
