Q: What has been your favorite tournament to play in during your time at Utah and why?
A: Bandon Dunes. The golf was really different and provided new challenges that can't be found in many other places.
Q: What would you say you've improved on most from your first year to now?
A: My mental game has improved the most, as well as my time management.
Q: What is your favorite part about playing at Utah?
A: The team atmosphere. We are a well-meshed program and a tight knit group of athletes.
Q: What kinds of things did you do this summer during your time off?
A: Played a lot of golf and spent a lot of time outdoors.
Q: What are some of your goals for this upcoming season when you get back on the course?
A: My goal is to have as many top-10 finishes as I can in hopes to come out with a win in at least one event.
Q: What do you like most about playing for Coach Garrett Clegg and Coach Chance Cain?
A: They are very personal, they analyze your game as well as your personality and they figure out the best way to coach each individual player.
Q: Why did you choose Utah?
A: I chose Utah because I wanted to help grow the program and the coaches were a big factor in my decision.
Q: What is it about golf that you love?
A: I love that golf is individual in the sense that it is a challenge between you and the course and nothing else, but that it is also a team sport at the same time.
Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of golf?
A: I enjoy fishing, camping, hunting, working out and hanging out with friends.
Q: Who is your favorite player professional golfer and why?
A: Phil Mickelson. He is a shot creator and he has always been an idol of mine ever since I was young.
Q: If you could go pro in a different sport, what sport would it be and why?
A: Baseball because it is similar to the mental aspect of golf. Also, playing it through high school, it makes me miss it a little in the springtime.
Q: What is your go-to club in your bag and why?
A: 2 Iron. The stinger is the most reliable shot for me off the tee.
