SAN DIEGO – Competing in the consolation draw after falling in a hard-faught three set match on Thursday, Franco Capalbo saw his ITA Fall National Championships run come to an end on Friday.

Capalbo matched up with Tad Maclean of Auburn in the consolation draw round. In the first set, Capalbo was battling and he found himself down 4-2. However, he had to retire because of injury ending his run.

Utah returns to action on Thursday, November 11 when they travel to Los Angeles to participate in the LMU Invitational.
