SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Utes fans will have an opportunity to tour the Ken Garff Red Zone at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Welcome Back Open House. The event will run from 6-8 p.m., and include a special program in which each of the Utes' head coaches will appear and talk about the upcoming season. Admission is free.
Â
Fans will get their first look inside select areas of the spectacular expansion of Rice-Eccles Stadium, which includes the brand-new Utah Football locker room, visiting team locker room, Field Club, Suite Club, Premium Terrace and restaurant. The Ken Garff Red Zone at Rice-Eccles Stadium is nearing completion after nearly 18 months of construction, and will increase the stadium's capacity to 51,444 when the 2021 season opens on Thursday, Sept. 2, at 5:30 p.m., against Weber State.
Â
The event will take place on the concourse, field, and inside the Ken Garff Red Zone at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The concourse will be open to provide access to concession stands, the Red Zone Bookstore and promotions from Utah Athletics sponsors.

The program featuring every Utah Athletics head coach and select student-athletes will originate from a stage on the field and will be projected on the video boards and TVs throughout the stadium. Fans also may watch the event program from the field level, but will not have access for direct interaction with coaches or student-athletes.
