SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball non-conference schedule continues to unfold with dates for its match-ups against in state rival BYU and Fresno State released late Wednesday morning.
Under the direction of first-year head coach
Craig Smith, Utah plays host to BYU on Saturday, Nov. 27, inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The 262nd meeting between the two programs will be Utah's first game after returning to SLC from the Sunshine Slam Tournament (Nov. 20-21) in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The Utes will then play host to Fresno State on Tuesday, December 21, and fill a game that was postponed last season due to the pandemic. Utah is 11-4 overall against Fresno State, including a 7-1 mark inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center. Smith is 6-1 all-time against the Bulldogs during his time in the Mountain West.
