Four From Utah Ski Team Tabbed RMISA MVPs

Jager and McCabe collect Nordic honors; Normannseth and Vøllo lauded on alpine aide
SALT LAKE CITY – The Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association announced its 2023 MVPs on Friday and the Utah Ski Team was well-represented ahead of next week's NCAA Championships in Lake Placid, New York.
Utah swept the men's alpine MVP awards with Wilhelm Normannseth taking the slalom award and Gustav Vøllo being recognized in giant slalom. For Nordic, Luke Jager was tabbed men's classic MVP and Novie McCabe the women's freestyle MVP.
The Utes, winners of 14 NCAA team championships all-time and 15 overall national crowns, are looking for their fourth straight team victory at a completed NCAA Championship (2019, '21, '22). Utah was also in the lead in 2020, but NCAAs were cancelled midway through that year and never were completed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
