Becker Named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week

Senior kicker went 4-for-4 on field goals this past Friday
IRVING, Texas – University of Utah senior kicker Cole Becker has been named the Big 12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Becker went a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals and made a PAT this past Friday night at Arizona State, with his four FG made setting a new career-high. In order, his four field goals were from 48, 40, 29 and 46 yards. It is his second game this season making multiple 40-yard field goals (he also accomplished the feat at Oklahoma State).

His four made field goals at ASU were the most by a Ute since 2018 and second-most in the Big 12 this season. Becker is the first Utah kicker since Andy Phillips (Oct. 22, 2016) to make three field goals of 40-plus yards in a game.
