Abby Paulson Earns Pac-12 Specialist of the Week Honors

Paulson named Specialist of the Week for the second time this season
SAN FRANCISCO – Fifth-year senior, Abby Paulson earned her second Pac-12 Specialist of the Week honor of the season, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.

Paulson brought the 14,000 fans of the Huntsman Center to tears during her final performance on beam Friday evening, scoring her first 10.0 in the Huntsman and her first perfect 10.0 since freshmen year. It was her sixth win on the beam of the season, as she has scored a 9.9+ in 9 of 11 competitions this season.

Paulson would go on to add a 9.925 on floor, in her final floor performance at home to claim a tie for third in the event. She has scored above the 9.9 mark in seven of 8 of 11 competitions this season.
