PRIOR TO UTAH: Played in six games at Fresno City College in 2017 as a transfer from Southern Utah, finishing with 11 tackles, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup … played in three games at SUU in 2016 and redshirted in 2015 … honorable mention all-state as a senior at Highland HS (Utah) … all-region in 2014 … 23 tackles as a senior … also had 297 receiving yards (21 catches) and three touchdowns, seven kick returns for 258 yards (1 TD) and four punt returns for 201 yards (1 TD), 19 punts for 641 yards (4 inside the 20) in 2015 … 23 tackles and an interception as a junior … also had four catches for 63 yards in 2013 … team captain … also participated in soccer, basketball and track … member of the National Honor Society.
