FORT WORTH, Texas—The Red Rocks' 2026 gymnastics season has officially come to a close after athletesÂ
Avery Neff (all-around),Â
Ella Zirbes (floor), andÂ
Ana Padurariu (beam) competed for individual event titles at the NCAA National Championship Semifinals on Thursday evening.
Â
"Their individual work is going to be showcased this weekend," head coach
Carly Dockendorf told the media earlier in the week. "That is what it is all about. Working and getting the opportunity to finish out on their events that they are just so incredible at."
The trio of Utah gymnasts did just that, representing the program and displaying their skills on the national stage among the best in the sport.
Rotation one showcased Neff on bars where she earned a 9.8000, while Padurariu was featured on her lone event of the night on beam and scored a 9.8500.
In the second rotation, Neff had her turn on the beam, posting a 9.9000 as Zirbes simultaneously entertained the crowd on floor with a 9.9250 in her lone event.
Neff finished out rotations three and four as the lone Red Rock competing, earning her highest score of the night on floor—a 9.9375 and ending on vault with a 9.8750. Neff's final tally in the all-around through four rotations was 39.5125.
Â
Neff's floor score was the highest finish of Utah's competitors, taking fourth place between semifinal session I and II, while her all-around score placed seventh.
