SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Athletics and adidas have announced a groundbreaking seven-year agreement to make adidas the official footwear, uniform, apparel and sideline partner of the Utes beginning with the 2027-28 school year.  Â

The partnership between Utah and adidas is set to elevate the student-athlete experience, expand the reach of the Utah brand and enhance fan engagement. The agreement is effective July 1, 2027. Â

In addition to providing top-tier footwear, apparel and equipment, along with industry-leading innovation and vision, adidas and Utah will be prioritizing high-impact NIL opportunities for student-athletes across all 19 of the university's varsity programs.

Once the partnership begins, all Utah student-athletes will be eligible to participate in adidas' wide-ranging NIL Ambassador Network, which gives all student-athletes at adidas-partnered Division I schools the chance to benefit from their Name, Image and Likeness.
