Erin Vringer named Big 12 Runner of the Week after posting a top-10 finish at the John McNichols Invitational.

IRVING, Texas – Utah cross country's Erin Vringer was named Big 12 Runner of the Week on Wednesday the league announced after posting a top-10 finish at the John McNichols Invitational last Saturday.

This is the third time Vringer has earned runner of the week honors from the Big 12 Conference since the Utes joined the league in 2024.

The Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, native was Utah's low stick at the John McNichols Invitational to help Utah secure a second-place finish. Vringer crossed the finish line at 20:12.6 for 10th-overall – the fifth top-10 finish in her career.
