Girls' Camp Purpose
The purpose of the Utah Soccer Camp is to provide a positive atmosphere in which each player can develop the confidence, motivation and discipline needed to eventually reach her potential. The camp is designed to push the serious soccer player to develop fundamental skills as well as an understanding of the tactics involved in high levels of soccer. It is our goal to see that each player is sufficiently challenged, yet also has fun while developing lasting friendships with the coaching staff and other players.

Little Ute Camp

Little Ute Camp Purpose
The purpose of the Little Ute Soccer Camps is to provide quality coaching in an exciting environment for boys and girls. The older players will receive more intensive training.
$50-all players
* a $15 deposit is required with application

Goalkeeper Program
Personalized goalkeeper training with coaches who have Division 1 coaching and training experience. Registration Deadline
The registration form and non-refundable deposit must be returned by June 30, 1998. Applications will be taken in order as space is limited (especially residential). Past June 30th, please call (801) 585-7250 to check on available space. Cancellations
Refunds, less the deposit, will be made for cancellations up to July 7 (Little Ute) and July 13 (Girls'), 1998. NO REFUNDS will be made past these dates. Campers who must leave during the week due to illness or injury will receive a pro-rated refund. NO REFUNDS will be given to campers who voluntarily leave camp or who are sent home for disciplinary reasons. Insurance and Medical Attention
A certified athletic trainer will be on duty at all times. Insurance coverage is provided. However, be aware that it is a secondary policy for any private insurance that exists. Camp Director
Amy Freeman Winslow
Head Coach, University of Utah
Coach Winslow is a Region IV ODP staff coach for 1998 and led the Utes to a 9-11-1 record for the 1997 fall season. A native of Rochester, N.Y., Winslow previously held the head coaching position at Loyola University-Chicago, where she was also a member of the Illinois ODP state staff. She also coached at Earlham College in Richmond, Ind. She is a 1989 graduate of Bates College (Lewiston, Maine). Winslow is a USSF "B" licensed coach and holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Jim Winslow
Assistant Coach, University of Utah
Coach Winslow, a Chicago native, is a USSF "C" licensed coach and is also a member of the Utes strength and conditioning staff. In Chicago, Winslow coached at Downers Grove South H.S. (a perennial Illinois power) and for the Naperville Soccer Association, one of the top club programs from 1994-95. He also spent time training with the Chicago Power. Winslow graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1987. Ashley Miller
Graduate Assistant, University of Utah
Coach Miller is the Ute goalkeeping coach. Miller was an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach for the Hamilton Futbol Club under-15 team in Tennesse. She has also participated on the staff at the Baylor School, University of Indiana and Notre Dame camps. Miller graduated from Kentucky in 1995. At Kentucky, she a member of the 16th place NCAA Tournament team in 1995 and 1996.
