The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is comprised of student-athletes from all 19 varsity sports on campus. The members assemble regularly and lend insight on the student-athlete experience, as well as offering input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives. The purpose of the SAAC is to promote communication among student-athletes, coaches and athletics administrators on issues to improve the student-athlete experience and promote growth and education through sports participation. As a member of SAAC, you have the opportunity to address issues affecting student-athletes at the University on both a local and national scale.

When Does the SAAC Meet?
The SAAC meets two Wednesdays of each month during the nine-month academic year. The representatives meet in the Kenneth P. Burbidge Jr. Athletics Academic Center. Attendance is mandatory by at least one representative from each team.
Who Is Invited To Attend SAAC Meetings?
The SAAC has extended an open invitation to all student-athletes, coaching staff, and administrators who wish to attend the meetings. It is suggested that the SAAC also seek involvement from the faculty athletic representative (FAR).
