"The annual Student-Athlete Conference, organized by Student-Athlete Mentors (SAMS), marks the beginning of the new academic school year. The conference is a social/educational event for old and new athletes to come together. This year we played some get-to-know you games and performed skits depicting life as a student-athlete.These skits included the topics: alcohol use, hazing, roommates and communication. The event concluded with a barbecue dinner.We had a great turnout and a fun time was had by all."
