• Utah pushed its all-time record over USC to 22-17, while registering its eighth straight win over the Trojans.
• The Utes moved to 2-0 at home against Pac-12 Conference opponents, while pushing its winning streak to 10 straight games against conference foes inside the Huntsman Center (dating back to last season).
• Tonight’s win marked Utah’s first victory over a Top-25 ranked team this season. Utah is now 36-33 all-time when facing ranked teams at home.
• USC opened the contest scoring the first 10 points, but Utah countered with an 11-0 run to take its first lead, 11-10, at the 13:12 mark of the first half.
• After spotting the Trojans 10 points, Utah outscored USC 44-21 over the final 16:50 of the first half.
• The Utes opened the game 0-of-5 from the field, but then rebounded to make 14 of its next 18 shots. Utah finished the game shooting .552 (32-of-58) from the field, which included a .529 (9-of-17) effort from the three-point line.
• Utah has shot 50 percent or better from the three-point line in three of its first four Pac-12 Conference games – all wins for the Utes.
• Utah had four players or more score 10+ points for the 12th time this season. The Utes, who moved to 10-2 on the season when that happens, finished the game with five players score in double-figures.
• Devon Daniels led the way with 17 points, David Collette and Lorenzo Bonam added 15 points each, Sedrick Barefield tallied 14 points and Kyle Kuzma notched 12 points.
• Kuzma pulled down a game-high 11 boards for his second-straight and eighth double-double of the season.
• Daniels was a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc on Wednesday. He is 5 for his last 5 from downtown dating back to the second half of the Arizona State game.
• Collette attempted his first three-pointer of the season for the Utes. He is a perfect 1-of-1 from downtown on the season.
• Utah, who came into the game ranked third in the nation scoring points in the paint, out-scored the Trojans 38 to 24 inside the paint.
• Utah won the rebound battle (37 to 34) and points off turnovers (18 to 7).
