• Utah moves to 29-31 against Arizona in the all-time series. The Utes fall to 8-18 all-time when playing in Tucson, Ariz.
• Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak is 105-77 in his six seasons with the Utes. He is 147-97 in his career.
• Utah out-shot the Wildcats, 52 percent to 47 percent, from the floor in the first half. Arizona led at the three-point line making 2-of-7, while the Utes made just 1-of-6.
• Arizona got to the free throw line five times and made all five attempts in the first half. Utah was 0-for-2 from the charity stripe in the first half.
• Freshman Devon Daniels led the Utes with eight points at the break. He was a perfect 4-of-4 from the field.
• Arizona led the Utes 22-18 in the paint, while both benches had six points each at the break.
• Junior David Collette led the Utes with 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting. He has scored 11 points or more in all six games he has played this season.
• Daniels finished with 12 points (6-of-11), while leading the team with five assists and seven rebounds. He tallied a block in the game, as well. His five assists tied a season/career-high.
• Utah finished the game shooting .431 (25-of-58) from the field, while Arizona shot .462 (24-of-52).
• Arizona shot .824 (14-of-17) from the free throw line to Utah’s .500 (2-of-4) from the charity stripe.
• The Utes tied a season-low (Concordia) with just eight turnovers on the night.
• Utah turns around to face Arizona State this Saturday, Jan. 7, in Tempe, Ariz. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. MST.
