The University of Utah women's cross country program will host the 2019 NCAA Mountain Region Championships on Friday, Nov. 15. Utah will be hosting its first NCAA regional meet since the 2010 season.Â
The 2019 NCAA Mountain Regional will be held at Rose Park Golf Course in Salt Lake City. The women's race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. MT, while the men's race will begin at 12 p.m. MT. Following both races, there will be a recognition ceremony for those athletes that have earned All-Region honors beginning at approximately 1 p.m. MT. Â
Ticketing Information
Gates to the event will open at 9 a.m. MT. Fans will buy tickets at the entrance to receive admission to the NCAA Mountain Regional. Cash preferred, no ATM on site.
Ticket Prices:
13 years and older: $5
Youth (0-12 years): Free
Seniors (65+) and Veterans with ID: Free
Students with ID (any age or University): Free
Parking/Shuttle Information
- Parking will be available in Rose Park Golf Course lot in front of the club house, while overflow parking will be located in a nearby church parking lot. All parking and shuttle rides are free of charge. Below are the addresses to the golf course and church:

- The shuttle will transport fans to and from the overflow parking lot. The first shuttle pick-up will be at 9 a.m. MT on Friday, while the last shuttle pick-up will leave the golf course at 2 p.m. MT.
The Field
Women
The women's field could have up to 20 teams competing for the NCAA regional title. At last year's NCAA Mountain Regional, New Mexico won the event, while Colorado finished in second place. BYU, Southern Utah, and Air Force rounded out the top five teams from a year ago. To get a look at the regional rankings so far in 2019, click here.
Men
The men's region also contains 18 squads that may travel to Salt Lake City for this year's regional. Northern Arizona won the 2018 NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Provo last season to edge out the meet hosts, BYU, who finished in second. Colorado, Colorado State, and Southern Utah finished as the other top-five teams in the event.
