Dakota Marsden Director of Player Development 3rd Year
Dakota Marsden is in his third year as Utah’s gymnastics director of player development and his seventh year assisting with the program. As an undergraduate student at Utah, he served as the gymnastics team manager for four years. He was also a manager for the Utah men’s basketball team in 2010-11.
Marsden’s responsibilities include serving as a liaison for the student-athletes, campus departments and outside agencies. He also tracks academic progress reports, study table hours and mentor meetings and assists incoming freshmen with their transition to the collegiate environment. He has oversight of the Dumke Gymnastics Center and the gymnastics equipment ordering.
The son of co-head coach Megan Marsden and former coach Greg Marsden is a 2015 graduate of the U. in sports management and commercial recreation.
