GeAnna Luaulu-Summers enters her first season with the Utes in 2025-26. She comes to Utah after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach for Seattle U women's basketball.
Prior to her time at Seattle, Luaulu-Summers spent the 2022-23 season at Oregon as the Ducks' director of creativity and student athlete support. Prior to Oregon, she spent three seasons at her alma mater, Pacific, working as the team's digital media specialist from 2019-21 and serving as an assistant coach for the 2021-22 season.Â
Luaulu-Summers finished her collegiate playing career in 2018 as one of the most prolific scorers in Pacific program history, ranking sixth on the all-time scoring list with 1,322 points. She was a back-to-back All-West Coast Conference First-Team selection in her final two seasons.
After earning her undergraduate degree in sports management from Pacific in 2018, Luaulu-Summers played professionally overseas with the Lakeside Lightning of the Australia-State League, where she led the Lightning to a 16-6 record while averaging 16.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game on 40.7 percent shooting.
