Mason Yellico serves as the director of player personnel for the Utah football program. Yellico oversees the program’s roster management efforts, including prospect evaluation and talent acquisition.
Yellico has been part of the Utah staff since 2021, previously serving as an offensive recruiting assistant (2021), assistant director of player personnel (2022-24) and director of scouting (2025). He has been instrumental in recruiting strategy, operations and communication, along with organizing official visits.
Prior to Utah, Yellico was at Wake Forest as a player personnel and recruiting intern during the 2021 season.
Yellico made his initial foray into college football while a student at Oklahoma State, working as a student manager from 2018–20 while earning his degree. During that time, he also contributed to player evaluation initiatives through The Scouting Academy, developing a foundation in film analysis and talent identification.
