Rachel Moffitt serves as Director of Football Administration for the University of Utah football program, where she oversees key operational, administrative and student-athlete support functions while serving as a strategic partner to the head coach.

In her role, Moffitt manages day-to-day football operations, including executive scheduling, travel coordination, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with athletics administration, academic services, donor relations and external stakeholders. She provides leadership for player development and academic coordination efforts, helping ensure student-athletes receive comprehensive support both on and off the field.

Moffitt plays an integral role in student-athlete development initiatives, family engagement programs, community outreach efforts and Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) fulfillment. She serves as the primary liaison to academic services, monitoring eligibility and degree progress while maintaining communication between student-athletes, coaches and support staff. Additionally, she oversees family relations, onboarding initiatives and gameday logistics, creating a positive and supportive experience for players, staff and their families.

Prior to her current role, Moffitt served as Executive Assistant to the Presidents of the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth. She provided executive-level operational support, coordinated domestic and international travel, managed organizational events and contributed to the successful launch and transition of Utah’s NHL franchise. She also played a key role in the Utah Mammoth brand launch and cross-functional organizational initiatives.

Moffitt began her career with the University of Utah football program as Executive Assistant to the Head Coach, supporting program operations, communications, compliance initiatives and donor engagement efforts. She also gained experience in business development and client relations as a Business Communications Consultant at Weave.

A native of California, Moffitt earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Utah, earning Dean’s List honors. She also completed a minor in Strategic Communications.
