David Collette, along with sophomores
Parker Van Dyke and
Jake Connor, were each named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, the league office announced on Tuesday. Collette and Van Dyke were both named second team selections, while Connor earned honorable mention.

Collette, who has a 3.37 GPA in Economics, averaged 13.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in his first season with the Utes. He posted double-digit scoring efforts in 18 of 19 games played, and ranked second on the team with 19 blocked shots.

Van Dyke, who has a 3.42 GPA in pre-business, started in 11 of Utah's 30 games this season. He tallied a 4.8 points per game average, dished out 39 assists and totaled 16 steals. He also ranked second on the team with 30 made three-pointers.

Connor, who has a 3.05 GPA in Health, Society and Policy, played in 14 games this season, while shooting 47 percent from the field and 35 percent from the three-point arc. He totaled 10 assists, eight steals and averaged 3.4 points per game.

Utah ranked second among Pac-12 schools with a total of two players on either the first or second teams. Oregon State led the way with a total of four selections.
