Utes Drop Game to San Diego State

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team is 0-2 versus San Diego State. The Utes dropped their second game to the Aztecs 5-2. Utah is now 10-9, and 0-2 in Western Athletic Conference play. Sophomore Jed Chrisman was 3-4 with one run. Brett McDermaid (2-2) pitched 6.2 innings facing 29 batters. He yielded nine hits and delivered two strikeouts. Utah resumes play Sat., March 7 in a double header starting at 1:00 p.m.
