Runnin' Utes Place Nine on Honor Roll

Nine University of Utah Men's Basketball players qualified for the Academic Honor Roll for fall semester. Seven scholarship players and two walkons made the academic honor list.
To qualify for the honor roll a player must have a 3.0 or better GPA for the semester. Scholarship players making the list are Hanno Mottola (3.82 GPA), Adam Sharp (3.46 GPA), Shane Willis (3.29 GPA), Jeremy Killion (3.21 GPA), Phil Cullen (3.05 GPA), Gary Colbert (3.07 GPA) and Brad Crockett (3.00 GPA). Willis is redshirting this season due to a pre-season knee injury while Colbert is also sitting out because he is a non-qualifier.
Walkons Sid Krommenhoek (3.93 GPA) and Zac Dalton (3.34) also made the coveted list.
Ute coach Rick Majerus has had 95 players make the honor roll during his 10 seasons at Utah.
