The University of Utah Ski Team welcomes two new coaches for the ?99-?00 ski season.
Thom Morton, a native of Hanover, Maine, comes to assume the alpine head coaching position. Morton skied at Northeastern and has coached at the University of Maine in Farmington and at Mt. Rose in Lake Tahoe.
Jesse Lassley graduated in ?99 in organizational communication from Utah where he also skied for four years on the cross country team. Lassley will assistant head cross country coach Kevin Sweeney in overseeing the cross country team.
Both coaches are excited to join the staff and look forward to a very important year for the Utes, in which they will be hosting the NCAA Skiing Championships.
