Jameson Named GTE Academic All-Amercian

SALT LAKE CITY - University of Utah sophomore Teren Jameson was selected as a first team GTE Academic All-America District VIII on Monday. Jameson is an electrical engineering major with a 4.00 grade point average. Jameson is a member of Utah's cross country and track and field teams.
He was recently named all-conference for his second place finish in the 5,000 meters at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Jameson was also all-conference during the indoor season winning the conference title in the men's mile. He placed 16th at the MWC Cross Country Championships.
