THIS WEEK: The Utah men's and women's swimming team rejoins conference competition as they host the Brigham Young Cougars on Tuesday. The meet will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Ute Natatorium. This competition will mark the second meeting of the season for the two rivals, the first fell to the favor of the Cougars.
RECENT RESULTS: The Utes competed in a relay invitational competition, hosted by Tampa University, last Friday. The competition was the conclusion to a week long training camp in Orlando, Fla. The Utah women's team placed second with a final score of 60 points, just under first-place Truman State who provided a final score of 74 points. The Utes did claim six of the ten relays in the competition. The Utah men's team captured four of the ten relays in the competition. A performance that resulted in a third-place finish with a final score of 57 points. Tampa and Truman State were first and second with final scores of 74 points and 62 points, respectively. Due to the nature of the competition, there were no individual results.
COMING UP: Home conference competition will continue for the Utes this week following the show-down with the Cougars. The Utes will host Wyoming on Friday, beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed by Air Force on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.. Both competitions will be held at the Ute Natatorium.
