PALO ALTO, Calif- Teren Jameson finished ninth in the 5,000-meter run at the Stanford Invitational with 13:59.83. Jameson was the highest finisher from Utah out of the 126 runners.
Johanna Nielsen earned 32nd place with 16:53.79 in the 5,000-meter run out of 78 runners. This was the first race of the year for Nielsen and the first time in over a year she has competed in the 5,000-meter run.
Outdoor season begins for the Track and Field team Saturday, April 7. The heptathletes compete at Boise State and the rest of the team at UNLV.
