Westfall Named To Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team

SALT LAKE CITY-Freshman third baseman Mike Westfall was honored for his outstanding debut season by being named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team. The Scottsdale, Ariz. native was third on the team and 11th in the Mountain West Conference with a .341 batting average. Westfall finished the year with 77 hits, including 17 doubles and nine home runs, and ranked second on the team in total bases with 143.
