Women's Tennis Signs Two Athletes for Next Year

The women's tennis team signed two athletes this week. Jessica Watts and Jen Wencel will join the team in fall of 2003.
Jessica Watts of St. George, Utah, was ranked 13th in doubles and 81st in singles during her career at Dixie High School. Watts also accumulated a 3.90 overall GPA and was a Sterling Scholar Runner Up in English.
Jen Wencel hails from Austin, Texas, and attended St. Episcopal's College Prep Academy. She has attended Austin Tennis Academy for the last three years where former University of Texas player Lucy Schmidhauser coached her. Wencel played for the Texas Section, in the Super Champs Circuit and was ranked in the top 15 of her division.
