COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Utah outdoor track and field heptathlon athletes competed at the Mountain West Conference Championships on Thur., May 16. Ute athletes completed second day of competition taking second, fourth and seventh place overall. Erianne Allen jumped up to second place (5199 points) overall with a outstanding first-place finish (37.86m) in the javelin throw and another first-place finish (2:22.73) in the 800-meter. Kristy Slade finished the day in fourth place (4884 points) and Noelle Pikus took seventh place (4407 points) overall.
