SALT LAKE CITY--Utah righthander Cheyenne Rushton was named Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week on May 20. Rushton, from West Jordan, Utah (Salt Lake CC), tossed a complete game against Air Force last week to earn his eighth victory of the season. He allowed four earned runs vs. the Falcons, while striking out six and walking none.

This is the third time Rushton has been honored by the league this season. The senior hurler is 8-5 on the year with 61 strikeouts and a league-high seven pickoffs.
