SALT LAKE CITY - Utah swimming and diving Head Coach Mike Litzinger announced the 2002-03 schedule on Thursday.
This year's schedule includes seven home meets beginning with Florida State on Nov. 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ute Natatorium. The combined men's and women's teams will also host Oregon State, Washington, Wyoming, Air Force, Brigham Young, and will conclude with the Utah Invitational from Feb. 28-March 1. Utah will also hold a Utah Senior Meet to warm up for the season on Nov. 2 at 11:00 a.m.
"The 2002-03 schedule is certainly the most ambitious we have put together," said coach Litzinger. "Along with our traditional opponents in the MWC, our nonconference schedule includes Florida State, Ohio State and Oregon State, all teams that have consistently shown up in the NCAA rankings. This type of competition is crucial for our success on the conference and national level."
