Utah Head Coach Ray Giacoletti
"Our eight turnovers is as encouraging as anything we've had this season. It was a season low and a lot of those turnovers were unforced. We've got to find something to hang our hat on. Maybe Saturday's game against Utah State was a good thing, because we got hit square in the face. When that happens you have to either try to get better or quit, and quitting is not an option."
"Our second team did a good job getting us into an offense and swinging the ball. We have to find and develop a bench because we are going to need people. We have to find time for our starters, because guys just can't play 40 minutes."
"Right now, we're telling our guys to play as hard as you can and get your hand up. If you get your hand up, we'll get you a quick rest and get you back in the game. But if we take you out, you're going to sit for a while, because we have to develop some pride on the defensive end of the floor. Defense can trigger so many things during a game."
"We have a great opportunity this Saturday against Arizona. We found out what its like to be in a hostile environment in Logan, and now we need to be the aggressor and play with a chip on our shoulder."
"Arizona is incredibly athletic and they will shoot some crazy three's like (Montana-Western) did tonight. Most of those shots will be in transition, because four out of their five guys can shoot in transition."
