PROVO, Utah - The University of Utah outdoor track and field teams finished competition for the Clarence Robison Invitational on Saturday, April 24. Held at the BYU Track and Field Stadium, the meet featured athletes from Utah, BYU, Weber State, Nevada, Montana State, Southern Utah, Utah State, Idaho State and Utah Valley State College.

Leading the way for the women were Kristin Taylor, Jenny Gustavson, Jamie Munns, Nikki Mancinelli and Candice Mannion. Taylor and Gustavson finished third (5:00.66) and fourth (5:02.42), respectively, in the open 1,500-meter run. Munns finished third in the high jump with 1.58m with Mancinelli following her at fourth (1.53m). Candice Mannion finished 10th (59.29) in the 400-meter preliminary run, but failed to qualify for the final race.

On the men's side, Kurt Michels, Damian Mora and Casey Chow led the way. Michels finished third in the open 1,500 with 4:07.56. Mora took eighth in the open 800-meter run with (1:56.23), and Chow took 10th in the pole vault (4.20m).
