Utah men's golf finished the final round of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational with a score of 293 to jump ahead two spots and finish tied for fourth overall. The Utes finished the tournament 30-over par (882).
Senior Ashdon Woods and freshman Nick Carter finished tied for sixth at five-over par (218). Woods shot a 75 in the final round, and Carter turned in his best score of the tournament finishing at even par (71).
Daniel Smith finished three-over par on the day, turning in the same score all three rounds (74). Smith finished tied for 22nd (222). Freshman Dustin Pimm placed 51st overall with a three round score of 229 (+16). Chace Bickmore was two strokes back of Pimm, finishing tied for 59th (231).
Utah travels to Corvallis, Ore., to compete in the Oregon State Invitational Sept. 13-14.
