The freshman led the Utes as they defeated the No. 12-ranked BYU Cougars and dealt them their first loss of the season and breaking their 20-match win streak. She led the Utes with 15 kills and hit .371 in totaling only two errors on 35 swings. The 15 kills is the fourth-best effort of her career. She nearly had a double-double with nine digs and had three total blocks, including two solo. Salvo lifted her team to victory, knocking the game-winning kills in each of the second and third games.
