SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah baseball team had three of its student-athletes honored by the Mountain West Conference today, recognizing them with the Scholar-Athlete Award.

Honored were: Jay Brossman, So., 3.50, Exercise and Sport Science; Chad Cullers, Jr., 3.57, Exercise and Sport Science; and T.J. Wise, Jr., 3.56, Exercise and Sport Science.

To be eligible, student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the certifying institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have competed in at least one varsity contest in their respective sport.
